# Verify a member

`POST` `/loyalty/members/verify`

Operation ID: `verifyLoyaltyMember`

**Write** (POST, so personal data stays out of URLs). Confirms a member number and last name match, and returns the tier and benefits.

## Request body (required)

Content types: `application/json`

## Responses

- `200` - Verified member.
- `403` - The API is in read-only mode.
- `422` - Invalid input or a booking rule violation.
